Today was super busy at work, so I rushed to get everything finished with the hopes of possibly SQUEEZING an outdoor run in…? Before I knew it the clock said 4:00 so I packed up and prayed for decent traffic home…it IS Friday and it IS raining (well in SoCal we call this raining, but really it’s barely sprinkling). Anyway, it wasn’t too bad, and by the time I changed, took Scout out for a quick pee…it was 4:45ish. But I wasn’t giving up. I just decided I would go out and run whatever distance the sun allowed. I even GOTS a rainbow…
I was only able to squeeze in 2 miles. Hey, I was just happy to be able to get out there. Only bad part was that my effing precious Garmin clonked out! I know, I know, I shouldn’t have ignored the low battery warning for the last week (woopsies). So my Garmin’s battery died out after my first half of a mile (lesson learned, FEED GARMIN AS NEEDED) so I just glanced at the time on my phone. I am approximating 22-24 minutes. So glad I committed to squeezing in this run! It felt great to be out in the cool, lonely trail! Addicting! 
P.S. I treated myself to this LuLu running top…possible race day shirt for next Sunday? Still not sure. On another note, whoa, I can’t believe it’s only 8 DAYS AWAY!!! Ready or not…Surf City comes!!!

Oh my gosh you are so amazing. Friday’s are the hardest day for me to get out there. Way to run through the crummy weather. And I really like the color of your LuLu top:)

You’ve combined my two favorite things…… Running in the rain and LuLu. I’ve converted all of my running stuff over. They make an AMAZING product (I love everything) and it really lasts forever. I think this upcoming half might be a great excuse to “earn” more stuff. Keep up the hard work; it’s so motivating to read.
Thanks!!! Yes, I ended up running in my Lulu at the Surf City Half today and it really was so comfortable and awesome! Definitely gonna make another trip soon! And it doesn’t hurt that their stuff is super flattering and cute
